In what cases should I use a Radiofrequency Body Treatment?
With age or following a diet, the skin on the body suffers a loss of elasticity and firmness, and sagging skin develops.
A natural and gradual decrease in the production of collagen and elastin fibers occurs, which causes skin laxity, loss of firmness, the appearance of orange peel skin and a loss of skin quality and appearance.
Fatigue, stress, excessive sun exposure, tobacco, and alcohol are aggravating factors for the loss of skin quality.
Hormonal phenomena can also play a role, such as in the context of menopause for example.
Radiofrequency is a non-invasive aesthetic technology that effectively treats sagging skin on the body, creates a lifting effect, and restores a younger, brighter, and more toned appearance.
Principle
We use the latest generation of bipolar and multipolar radiofrequency technologies, depending on the condition and level of skin laxity.
Radiofrequency machines transmit very high frequency electromagnetic waves, using an applicator that is moved manually over the surface of the skin, over the entire area to be tightened (stomach, arms, thighs…).
These waves act deep within the skin and cause heating in the subcutaneous tissue to around 55°C. They lead to the contraction of collagen fibers and a stimulation of the production of neo-collagen, which will tighten and lift the skin, reduce the appearance of cellulite and restore a smooth appearance.
The waves Electromagnetic waves cause the destruction of certain fat cells in the treated area.
The treatment is painless. The patient feels a pleasant and relaxing warmth on the treated areas.
After the session, the skin may show slight redness, which usually fades within half an hour. Apart from these rare and quickly disappearing effects, the face shows no marks.
Radiofrequency treatment techniques are applicable equally to men and women and to all skin types.
Effects
Radiofrequency treatment helps to tighten the skin in the treated areas, reduce cellulite, and achieve a smoother appearance.
Radiofrequency also reduces the volume of fat in the treated areas.
The effects are visible from the first sessions.
This radiofrequency body treatment allows you to quickly regain a rejuvenated body, firmer and radiant skin, without resorting to surgery.
On average, between 6 and 10 sessions spaced about a week apart are needed for a complete program, depending on age and skin condition.
Treated areas
The areas treated include the stomach, thighs, buttocks, arms, and back.
Session proceedings
Before any treatment, we conduct a detailed consultation during the first session to adapt the treatment program to the condition of your skin and your objectives, and to check that you are not subject to any contraindications (see details below).
You then receive your radiofrequency treatments in a private cabin, with a Beauty and Cures Paris expert.
A conductive lotion is applied to the areas to be treated.
We apply radio frequency machine probes, with different sized and maneuverable heads, to manually target the different areas to be treated (arms, stomach, thighs, back…) and obtain optimal efficiency and precision.
A session between 40 minutes (1 zone) and 60 minutes (2 zones).
Contraindications
People with pacemakers, metallic implants, or pregnant women cannot have access to radiofrequency.
Similarly, people with irritated skin, severe rosacea, or dermatoses cannot benefit from this treatment.
Moles are not a contraindication, but it is best to avoid them.
