Our HIFU Aesthetic Treatment
Aesthetic HIFU is based on focused ultrasound, which is delivered with great precision into the dermis. The action of focused ultrasound allows for skin tightening and thus the treatment of skin laxity.
Focused ultrasound heats the tissues and naturally reactivates the production of new collagen and elastin in the skin. This results in a visible improvement in the contours of the face, neck, and décolleté.
This technology therefore significantly improves the appearance of the skin and combats sagging, a consequence of skin aging.
HIFU treatment has been recognized by US health authorities as the only non-surgical facelift. However, it's important to remember that this technology is not a substitute for a surgical facelift when skin laxity is too significant.
A session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the area being treated. The effects of the new collagen are visible two months after the sessions, and the final result is achieved after six months. The effects last for a year or more, depending on the individual.
Areas we can treat with HIFU:
- The oval of the face / the jowls
- The neck
- The tail of the eyebrows
- The cheekbones
- The upper eyelids
Why redraw the oval of the face?
The oval of the face is defined by the lower part of the face including the contour of the jaw, the chin, the jowls and the neck.
With age, the skin of the oval, like the rest of the face, suffers a loss of elasticity, and sagging skin develops in the lower face and neck.
The oval of the face tends to sag, jowls appear, and the skin of the neck stretches and wrinkles.
Aesthetic HIFU is a non-invasive technology that allows you to reshape the oval of the face and improve the appearance of the skin, creating a firming effect to give a younger, smoother and more toned appearance to the face.
The principle in detail
Ultrasound, focused on precise points, generates a temporary increase in temperature at the precisely chosen depth: 1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm
When the temperature rises above 65°C in these layers of the skin (the protein denaturation threshold), a coagulation zone is created.
New tissues regenerate this area, making it more elastic. The upper layers of the skin are thus firmed.

This technology therefore considerably improves the appearance of the skin (wrinkles) and combats ptosis (sagging) resulting from skin aging.
Thanks to tips that reach different depths, this treatment requires 1 to 2 sessions and provides an undeniable and lasting lifting effect!
What does focused ultrasound treatment allow?
- Reduce wrinkles.
- Fighting against jowls.
- Improve skin elasticity.
- Redefine the oval of the face.
- Improve your jawline
- To soften the lines of bitterness around the mouth.
- Improve skin tone, brightness and radiance.
- Stimulating the body's collagen production, to achieve a rejuvenating effect and to gain elasticity.
The results of HIFU aesthetic treatments are visible for at least a year. However, collagen stimulation slows the aging process but does not stop it. We recommend annual touch-ups to maintain optimal results.
Session proceedings.
Before any treatment, we conduct a detailed consultation during the first session to define your treatment program based on the condition of your skin and your objectives.

We perform your HIFU treatment in a private cabin, by an expert and certified practitioner.
The skin is first cleansed and the areas to be treated are marked with a pencil. We then apply HIFU in a targeted manner, to precisely target the different areas to be treated (oval, neck, face), and achieve optimal results.
The technique is minimally painful or painless. The sensation varies greatly from person to person. Most clients describe it as painless, though it may be slightly uncomfortable, and it does not require any social or professional downtime; you can resume your activities immediately after the session. There is no recovery period as the technique has no lasting effects. The result is completely natural.
It is up to the practitioner to determine how many sessions are necessary based on the skin's condition and the results obtained after the first session. Most often, two sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.
It's also important to know that 5% of patients are poor responders to collagen induction and will not experience the desired effect. These rare, insufficient results are completely unpredictable.
Pro tips: 10 days before your HIFU session, a preparatory radiofrequency or microneedling treatment to stimulate the skin is ideal for an optimal response to ultrasound.
2nd session (recommended) 3 months after your 1st session.
Because the stimulation of fibroblasts , collagen and elastin is crucial in order to achieve very good results, we recommend 1 to 2 radiofrequency sessions or a 2nd HIFU session (depending on the desired result and the severity of the sagging) .
In most cases, and if the skin is properly prepared, one HIFU session is sufficient. However, some areas may be less receptive, which is why, for three months after your first HIFU session, you will receive a 50% discount if a second HIFU session is required.
Contraindications
People with pacemakers, metallic implants in the treated area, or pregnant women cannot undergo HIFU treatment. Similarly, people with irritated skin, significant rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, or other dermatoses cannot benefit from this treatment. Severe or cystic acne, and generally any open or infected skin wounds, are also contraindications.
Moles are not a contraindication, but it is best to avoid them.
Recent surgery and/or injections.
Taking anti-inflammatory drugs, cortisone.
Open or infected wound, tumor, diabetes, anticoagulants.
However, regular and recurring use of anti-inflammatories or cortisone during these 3 months reduces the expected result.
Unlike laser or peels, this treatment can be performed on all skin types and in all seasons; sun exposure is not a problem either before or after the treatment.
Side effects
- Redness may appear, but these effects will generally disappear within a few hours.
- The appearance of slight swelling in the area, tingling or sensitivity to touch is possible 48-72 hours after the procedure.
- It is possible to experience muscle sensitivity similar to mild aches and pains, which will generally disappear within a few days.
