Laminaria ochroleuca prefers the calm waters of the infralittoral zone. It is always found below other kelp species and, particularly in Brittany, is only very rarely exposed during the highest tides because it cannot tolerate prolonged exposure. In rougher or more exposed areas, it remains at depth. This golden seaweed reduces photo-induced aging by strengthening the hydrolipidic barrier of the epidermis. Furthermore, it has a significant soothing effect because it reduces inflammatory mediators in the epidermis, increases skin hydration, and limits the natural evaporation of water through the dermis and epidermis.

Famous since antiquity, sweet almond oil comes from the almond, the fruit of the almond tree, a fruit tree with pink and white flowers. Rich in oleic acid, sweet almond oil has long been known for its dermatological properties. It contains vitamin D, which promotes cell repair.
