Aesthetic HIFU is a technology known as High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, or more briefly HIFU.

This technology is known for its anti-aging effects.

Ultrasound waves are inaudible sound waves that propagate through biological tissues naturally rich in water, such as the skin. In this technique, ultrasound is used to deeply heat the skin tissues without damaging the surface. As a reaction, this will reactivate the creation of new collagen and elastin in the skin. Within a few weeks, the skin will gradually firm up again naturally.

How does a HIFU focused ultrasound session for the face work?

We apply a contact gel that allows the ultrasound machine to adhere perfectly to the skin. Depending on the body areas, we use different applicator tips to manage the intensity of the focused ultrasound.

A session lasts between 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the area to be treated.

The client may experience some slight pain that subsides very quickly, depending on the areas treated. Slight redness may also be observed following the heating of the tissues, but this will disappear very quickly.

The results are not immediately visible; the re-creation of collagen in the skin will be fully visible after 2 months up to 6 months for a final result, and the effects last for about a year.

This treatment is generally carried out in 1 to 3 sessions, spaced one month apart each time. The number of sessions may vary according to your goals. A consultation is held during the first session to determine the number of sessions.
