How does a session take place?

After a personalized skin diagnostic, we use serums highly concentrated in low molecular weight hyaluronic acid for deep hydration.

Before starting, we clean the area to be treated. The cleaning, which lasts about ten minutes, is done using a sterilizing solution or foam. Its purpose is to remove product residues or impurities. The goal of the cleaning is to prevent the penetration of bacteria and products into the dermis.

After exfoliation, the Beauty & Curves practitioner begins to pass the Activator Pen over the entire skin surface of the area. The application is done using circular movements to stimulate the skin. This stimulation aims to make the active ingredients contained in the serum penetrate deep into the skin.

Microneedling is intended for skin that is starting to lose elasticity or skin that lacks firmness. Acne scars or signs of aging can also be treated with microneedling.

Is microneedling painful?

In general, microneedling is not painful. However, for the most sensitive skin, redness may appear after the treatment. But rest assured, this fades quickly. It takes between 24 and 48 hours for tingling and redness to disappear.

What results can be obtained?

The first results are visible one week after the first session.

For the skin to be at its best, it is advisable to have 4 sessions.

Two microneedling sessions should be spaced at least 15 days apart and a maximum of 1 month. The interval is chosen based on the skin type and the size of the area to be treated. Once the microneedling sessions are completed, periodic maintenance is recommended.

Contraindications

Some people cannot benefit from the advantages of this technique. The microneedling treatment is not recommended for:
